Water is the third theme of the Green-Schools programme. The Water theme looks at developing awareness around water conservation and how to effectively manage this important resource in our schools and at home. The Water theme is sponsored by Irish Water.

Green-Schools is at the heart of everyday life in our school. We found the addition of the Water theme very relevant and applicable to home and school. There was tremendous scope for integration with the water theme and lesson ideas are endless.
